The Brighter Futures through CHANGE campaign allows an individual to donate $15 or more to the NJ Coalition for Battered Women. Funds will be used to:
-
directly assist victims through the Bev Crawford Fund
- offer education by the NJCBW Domestic Violence Education & Training Institute
- raise community awareness about domestic violence with the NJCBW Resource Center
Bev Crawford Fund
Victims receiving services at Coalition member programs throughout the state can get help with expenses for security deposits, utilities, childcare, car insurance, car repair, health care, and relocation to establish lives free of violence.
NJCBW Domestic Violence
Education & Training Institute
The Institute offers workshops, training, community education programs, and conferences for staff of domestic violence programs, law enforcement, attorneys, child protective services, welfare, schools, colleges, court personnel, faith based organizations, civic clubs and community groups. All workshops and conferences provide CEU credits toward certification as a Domestic Violence Specialist to insure quality services are available for victims.
NJCBW Resource Center
The Resource Center is a print, audio, video lending library with over 2500 resources about all aspects of domestic violence. It compiles statewide domestic violence service statistics and has available special issue brochures, handouts and multilingual brochures. Information, statistics, and materials are also available on the NJCBW website.
Your thoughtful and compassionate donation will support all of these programs and allow you to commemorate the special occasions of up to three individuals (friends & family members) on our website.
The only way to eliminate domestic violence is by shining a light on it. Our community needs to stand together as that shining light, so that all New Jersey families will one day live in peace. Your support helps us raise awareness and offer a brighter future for victims and children.
