Roles, Responsibilities,

Liabilities and Protections

What are the roles, responsibilities and proper activities of the board of directors of a nonprofit organization?

What are the potential liabilities of board members?

What policies and best practices in governance should boards be aware of in the post Sarbanes-Oxley environment?

This workshop will address these and other topics relating to the legal and fiduciary obligations of a board of directors of a nonprofit organization.

When: Thursday, October 23, 2008, 4:00 – 6:00 PM

There is no charge for this workshop; however we will be charging a refundable $10 registration fee. The cost of the workshop is being underwritten by Pro Bono Partnership and hosted by Prudential Financial.
