The New Jersey Coalition for Battered Women, through its Staff Attorney, holds Legal Advocates meetings throughout the year.   The purpose of these meetings are to inform and educate domestic violence Legal Advocates, both attorneys and non-attorneys, by keeping them updated with changes in the law and policy as it relates to domestic violence.   When possible, presentations and/or movies are shown to those in attendance on specific topics of interest.  Although the topics and discussions tend to relate more to the legal end of domestic violence issues, the meetings are open to any and all employees of Coalition members.
